The water tank assembly is an original spare part for Krups Intuition coffee machines. The assembly includes a lid, a handle, a water tank outlet valve and a magnetic float for water-level detection.
The water reservoir is usually replaced if:
• the float is stuck, damaged or no longer moves freely;
• water leaks from the tank or around its connection point;
• the tank is cracked, deformed or otherwise damaged;
• the lid or handle is broken.
The water-level sensor uses the position of the magnetic float to determine whether there is enough water in the tank. If the low-water warning remains on even though the tank is full, first check that the tank is correctly fitted and that the magnetic float moves freely.
If the tank is correctly fitted and the magnetic float moves freely but the warning remains, the fault may be with the water-level sensor inside the coffee machine.
If the cause of the fault is unclear, contact the ATAR Service Centre for diagnosis.
Important: before purchasing, check that your Krups Intuition coffee machine model is included in the list of compatible models and visually compare the existing water tank with the product photo.

The water reservoir is supplied without a lid. If necessary, the lid must be ordered separately (product code 12046501).
The water tank is usually replaced if:
• the float is stuck, damaged or no longer moves freely;
• water leaks from the tank or its connection point;
• the tank is cracked, deformed or otherwise damaged.
The water level sensor detects the position of the magnetic float inside the tank to determine whether there is enough water. If a message indicating that the water tank needs to be refilled appears on the display even though the tank is full, first check that the tank is correctly inserted and the float moves freely.
If the tank is correctly inserted and the float moves freely, but the low-water warning remains, the fault may be related to the water level sensor in the coffee machine.
If the cause of the fault is unclear, it can be further investigated at the ATAR Service Center.
