Drain Valve 047 V7 for Melitta, Nivona and Miele Coffee Machines (6783656)

The 047 V7 drainage valve is a genuine spare part for Melitta, Nivona and Miele coffee machines fitted with the new-version brewing unit drive.

The valve is mounted on the brewing unit drive. After brewing or rinsing, it drains residual water into the drip tray and relieves residual pressure in the brewing system.

The drain valve is usually replaced if:
• more water than usual collects in the drip tray after brewing;
• without changing the drink settings, the amount of coffee dispensed into the cup varies from one brewing cycle to the next;
• during brewing, water flows into the drip tray instead of the cup;
• the moving part of the valve is damaged, does not close or does not return to its rest position.

Before ordering the drain valve, check the brew unit connector and its gasket. If the connector is cracked or broken, or if its gasket is damaged, water may bypass the brew unit and flow into the drip tray.

Important: Before ordering, check both the coffee machine model and the version of the installed brewing unit drive. Visually compare the old drain valve with the product photo.
