The spill tray is an original spare part for Jura IMPRESSA XJ5 Professional, IMPRESSA XJ6 Professional, IMPRESSA XJ9 Professional and IMPRESSA XJ5 Professional (GII) coffee machines. The drip tray collects water drained during coffee preparation and rinsing and serves as a support for the coffee grounds container and drip tray grid.

The spare part should be replaced if you notice cracks, leaks, or corrosion on the metal contacts at the end of the tray, and the coffee machine no longer recognises whether the drip tray is inserted or emptied.

Damaged or corroded contacts prevent the coffee machine from detecting the tray position, causing a permanent “Empty tray” error. Water leakage under the coffee machine can be caused by a deformed or cracked drip tray.
