Grinder assembly for DeLonghi Magnifica Evo, Magnifica Plus coffee machines (AS00008377)

The grinding unit with an integrated thermal protector is a genuine DeLonghi spare part for Magnifica Evo ECAM290, ECAM292 and ECAM293, Magnifica Evo Next ECAM310 and ECAM312, as well as Magnifica Plus ECAM320 coffee machines.

The coffee grinder is located in the upper part of the coffee machine, beneath the coffee bean container. It grinds the coffee beans before the drink is brewed.

Over time, the grinder burrs wear down, the grind becomes uneven, and the coffee may become weaker and more watery.

The grinder assembly is usually replaced if:
• the display indicates that the bean container is empty even though it contains coffee beans;
• when a coffee drink is selected, the grinder does not start grinding the beans or stops during grinding;
• the grinder burrs are worn or damaged;
• an unusually loud or high-pitched noise is heard during grinding.

Noise during grinding can also be caused by a foreign object inside the grinder. Before replacing the grinder assembly, check that there is no foreign object inside. If the grinder still does not grind the beans or the noise remains after removing it, the grinder assembly should be replaced.

Important: the grinder is factory-tested and calibrated, so small traces of ground coffee or paint markings on the part do not indicate a defect. Before purchase, check that your DeLonghi coffee machine model is included in the compatible models list and compare your existing grinder with the product image.

AS00008377 is the newer grinder version with an integrated thermal protector. It replaces the previous manufacturer part number AS00002669.
