Thermoblock cable for Philips EP, Saeco GranAroma coffee machines (421946043141)

The thermoblock wire assembly is a genuine spare part for Philips 800, 1000, 1200, 2200, 2300, 3200, 3300, 4300, 4400, 5400, and 5500 Series, Café Aromis 8000, as well as Saeco GranAroma, GranAroma Deluxe, Xelsis Deluxe, and Xelsis Suprema coffee machines.

The thermostat connection wire is located at the thermoblock and connects the two 190°C safety thermostats mounted on it. In the event of overheating, the thermostats cut off the power supply to the heating element.

The thermoblock cable is typically replaced if:
• the wire or its connectors show visible damage;
• testing the wire reveals a break in the electrical circuit.

If the coffee machine fails to heat up and displays an error message, check the thermoblock cable. If the cable is in good condition, the 190°C safety thermostats, the NTC temperature sensor, and the heating element should be checked.

If the coffee machine heats up but the coffee is only lukewarm, first check the coffee temperature setting, preheat the cup, and descale the coffee machine. These steps may help resolve the issue.

If the cause of the fault is unclear, it can be diagnosed at the ATAR service centre.

Important: Before purchasing, check whether your Philips or Saeco coffee machine model is included in the list of compatible models and visually compare your existing thermoblock cable with the product photo.
