Water tank for DeLonghi EC9455.M coffee machines AS00009171

The water tank assembly is an original spare part for DeLonghi La Specialista Touch EC9455.M coffee machines. The assembly includes a hinged lid with an integrated handle, a water tank outlet valve and a magnetic float for water-level detection.

The water reservoir is usually replaced if:

• the float is stuck, damaged or no longer moves freely;
• water leaks from the tank or around its connection point;
• the tank is cracked, deformed or otherwise damaged;
• the lid or handle is broken.

The water level sensor determines whether there is enough water in the tank based on the position of the magnetic float. If the low-water warning appears even though the tank is full, first check that the tank is correctly inserted and that the float moves freely.

If the tank is correctly inserted and the float moves freely, but the low-water warning remains, the fault may be related to the water level sensor in the coffee machine.

If the cause of the fault is unclear, it can be further assessed at the ATAR service center.
