Drain Valve 047 for Melitta, Nivona, Miele Coffee Machines (6769602

The 047 drainage valve is a genuine spare part for Melitta, Nivona and Miele coffee machines.

The valve is mounted on the brew unit drive. After brewing or rinsing, it drains residual water into the drip tray and relieves residual pressure in the brewing system.

The drain valve is usually replaced if:
• more water than usual collects in the drip tray after brewing;
• without changing the drink settings, the coffee volume in the cup varies between brewing cycles;
• water flows into the drip tray instead of the cup during brewing;
• the moving part of the valve is damaged, does not close or does not return to its rest position.

Before ordering this drain valve, check the brew unit connector and its seal. If the connector is cracked or broken, or if its seal is damaged, water does not reach the brew unit and instead flows into the drip tray.

Important: Before ordering, check both the coffee machine model and the version or part number of the installed brew unit drive. Compare the old drain valve with the product photo.

If the machine is fitted with a brew unit drive with part number 6771060 or 0093292, use a drain valve with one of the following part numbers: 6769602, 6716080, 0068368 or 0071954.

If the machine is fitted with the new-version brew unit drive with part number 6783646 or 0146064, use the new-version drain valve with one of the following part numbers: 6783656, 0146260 or 146260.
