Safety valve for DeLonghi ECAM, EXAM coffee machines 7313261101

The pressure relief valve is an original spare part for DeLonghi ECAM320, ECAM322, ECAM470, ECAM610, ECAM612, ECAM630, EXAM440 and EXAM441 coffee machines. The valve is located behind the pump and connects to the heating element and the drain outlet.

During coffee brewing, the safety valve closes the drain outlet. After the cycle has finished, the remaining water is drained through the valve to the drip tray as pressure in the system decreases.

The relief valve is usually replaced if the coffee grounds in the container are wet, a firm coffee puck does not form, a leak is visible on the valve body or too much water enters the drip tray during brewing.
Replacement of this spare part and coffee machine maintenance can also be carried out at the ATAR service centre.
